The tri-level climbing structure, basketball court, huge slides, arcade area will keep the children entertain for hours. They even have an enclosed area with small slides and a ball pit for toddlers where they safely can run around and play.
Located in Oak Canyon Community Park, the Splash Pad is perfect for hot summer days. Take a picnic basket, a blanket, and your bathing suits and enjoy the water. It’s a small area designated for toddlers and small children. And if the Splash Pad is not enough, the community park has so much to offer: a small pond where you can feed the ducks trails to explore and enjoy the nature, bike trails, a dog park and grassy areas.
For outdoor lovers, the surrounding areas provide a variety of trails for all levels. China Flat Trail is one of them. Accessible year-round, this steep 5.5-mile scenic trail opens to a flat area with oak trees. At this point, you have the option to ascend to Simi Peak or turn around. The difficulty is moderate, and it’s ideal for a quick workout in the afternoon or during the weekend. The scenery is lovely with beautiful wildflowers and panoramic views of Oak Park and the nearby cities.
